Parish Committees
Our parish is more than a building or an organization. It is a community united in Christ, and the life of the parish depends upon clergy and parishioners offering their time and talents in service to the Church.
Our committees bring Parish Council members and parishioners together to support particular areas of parish life and ministry. You do not need to serve on the Parish Council or have specialized professional experience to participate. As the Parish Council has emphasized, what matters most is a sincere desire to serve Christ and His Church.
Building & Grounds / Facilities
Helps care for our church buildings, grounds, and parish property, including maintenance, repairs, safety, security, and long-term facility planning.
Worship & Liturgical
Supports the reverent celebration of divine services by helping coordinate liturgical volunteers, supplies, and other worship needs under the guidance of our priest.
Fellowship & Hospitality
Strengthens Christian fellowship by coordinating coffee hours, parish meals, visitor hospitality, and social gatherings.
Education & Catechesis
Supports Sunday School, Bible studies, catechumen instruction, educational resources, and other opportunities for Orthodox Christian formation.
Youth & Family
Develops activities, programs, and opportunities for service that support the spiritual growth of children, teenagers, young adults, and families.
Outreach, Evangelism & Missions
Helps welcome visitors and newcomers, strengthen connections within our parish community, reach those who have become distantly connected, and support the parish’s outreach and mission to the wider community.
The committee also assists with parish communications, including the website and social media, and works to make information about Orthodox worship and parish life easier for visitors and parishioners to find and understand.
Fundraising & Events
Coordinates fundraising initiatives and major parish events that support the mission and ministries of our church.
Find a Place to Serve
We are actively looking for parishioners to serve on our committees and for non-Parish Council members who are interested in taking leadership roles.
Serving on a committee is a meaningful way to offer your talents, build relationships within our parish family, and contribute to the life and mission of the Church. Whether you have a particular skill to offer or simply a willingness to help, there is a place for you.
